Our Sweet Potato Fondant is a delightful vegetarian accompaniment to any meal. Sweet potatoes have been seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme, drizzled with olive oil and maple syrup, and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds.
As a fondant, these sweet potatoes offer a balance of textures and flavours. Slow roasted at a low temperature transforms the sweet potatoes into tender, caramelized bites that nearly melt in your mouth. The added sunflower seeds introduce a subtle crunch, enhancing the fondant's texture and depth of flavour.
Package Size: Perfectly portioned as a side for two. 10 small-medium roasted and seasoned sweet potato, cut at 1/2-1" thick.
Preparation:
• Reheat thawed for approximately 10 minutes in the oven at 400F or pan on medium heat, until the sweet potatoes slightly browned.
• From frozen: 15 minutes in the oven, turn over halfway through.
